SPRUNG FORMAL: Book & Editorial Design

Sprung Formal (18th issue) is a project a small KCAI class takes on every spring semester. We collaborate with an english class to create a literary magazine over the course of 4 months. Artists, poets, authors and photographers submit their work, and we, as a designers, find a cool, new and unique way to display the work in this book. For this project, I worked in a team of 6 as the leading Art Director, meaning I was in charge of creating the identity, and applying it to all of the different assets (layouts/spreads, marketing/socials, event planning, etc.) I also illustrated the cover and made all of the illustrations.
