CHEZ ELLE: Rebranding

This was a super fun branding project I got to work on with my good friend, Lilah Powlas. We started by conducting research on local Kansas City crepe house, Chez Elle. We asked patrons to list their favorite, and not-so-favorite things about Chez Elle. The responses we got back mostly came back to the overall 'vibe' that the interior of the restaurant gave off-- outdated, tacky, and too 'on the nose' in terms of French influenced interior design. We felt the final results were a perfect representation of our combined styles. It was great getting to collaborate with him and bounce ideas off of each other.

A collection of the identity we decided on. We decided to start off the project working separately, each coming up with our own ideas for the brand, then coming back together and combining what we liked about each other's into one.
